Looking outside at the rain and 400 foot cloud ceiling. So much for my touch and go landing practice I looked forward to this weekend. Oh well, I guess I’ll just return to my regular weekend gig. Chauffeur for the ladies, who want to go visit some Henry VIII castle.
Hey Dude,
Yes, why not give them a lesson of history for a change:-)
They say wikipeadia is not reliable, but old britannica has problably the same info for the ladies:-)

When you get IFR you’ll be all set
Hi Adam,
The only way to get really, truly comfortable in an airplane for me is to go out and shoot an excessive number of touch and go’s in a one or two day period. I learned this when my insurance company required 10 hours with an instructor. There was no way we were going to just do a long cross country together, so we just took turns flying close patterns. We shot close to a hundred landings. It’s really illuminating. I think you’re on the right track–you find something you’re not comfortable with and you take care of it.
Hope the weather clears up!
Tailwinds!
