AC, you went to Iraq as Dutch person from Dutch radio.
But let’s not forget that Netherlands was NOT among 4 countries that participated in Iraq War 2 in combat phase – these were: USA, UK, Australia, Poland – Netherlannds’ army came later after combat phase ended and Netherlands has pulled out of Iraq quickly. So Netherlands is not that good friend of USA as others are.. and friend in need is friend indeed.

CSB. The only two countries participating in REAL combat are GB and the USA. The sole reason Polish troops are around is a political one.You ass lickers want to ’score’ points in order to promote relationship with Bush. So let’s stick to the facts please.
pip: you are right as far as NOW is concerned – Polish troops in Iraq now are only doing peacekeeping. However at the beginning of the Iraq War 2 the Poland was one of only 4 countries that were particpating in full fledged combat – I have seen photos from it too. See also casualties here: http://icasualties.org/oif/ – and notice that most Polish casualities are from combat, not bomb attacks.
Anyway: pip, you are from Netherlands and on May 1st 2006 Netherlands will be deciding whether to prolong restrictions for new EU citizens (that joined EU on May 1st 2004). If this decision will be negative and restrictions will be prolonged, then I will continue hating Nehterlands – as a racist and intolerant country. How can you be tolerant and friendly towards Mulsim folks in your country, if you are racist against fellow EU citizens…?
PS. I live most of my life outside of Poland but I can’t deny that I am Polish. There are over 10 milion Polish Americans in USA and several millions of Polish folks in west EU…

pip: never mind “combat” term, the fact is that between the start of Iraq War 2 and the time when it was offficaly announced to be ended only 4 nations participated in combat/war/whatever. Only 4. Netherlands was not one of them.
Good living in Netherlands? Dunno. I know that over 300,000 compatriots of mine moved to UK after May 1st 2006 and British companies keep asking for more… and UK’s economy booms. regarding Germany: they cannot keep them closed longer than till 2011 – then everybody, also Netherlands will have to open – there is no way around it. I am not complaining about Germany because they had to put up with East Germany reunification – West Germany already paid 1.5 trillion (1500 billions) Euros into East Germany and keeps paying… so they sitll are in a shock…
Regarding your “you whites”: want them out? Well, good that you admit it at least… but I think that you apply the same thinking to us, new EU citizens, as you do to your “nonwhite Dutch citizens”: you want us out… but this is huge mistake because we are EU citizens, free movement of people is one of 4 basic principles of EU, and transitory period will end sooner or later (at the latest 2011) but when it will end and you will say NO on May 1st, 2006, then you, Dutch, will be hated by us – new EU citizens (around 80 million people) – till 2011 and BEYOND.

CSB,what i was trying to say to you that i’m personally in favour of a free labourmarket and with me the employers. The Netherlands are one of the founder states of the EU while Poland with it’s inflation and large unemployment is a fresh member of that very Union. Therefore a Political decision was taken not to overflow the labourmarket with the exception of the UK, Ireland and Sweden.At the moment (give or take )80.000 of your buddies are employed overhere,so cut the crap about me being a white racist. in 16th century the United Kingdom of Poland and Lithuania was 2nd largest country in Europe after France. In 17th century Poland saved Europe from Muslim Invasion by defeating Turkish Army in Vienna, Austria and in 20th century (year 1920) from Soviet invasion of Europe. Without Poland Nethlerands (and the rest of Europe) would be now wholly Muslim or wholly Communist. After Wolrd War 2 Poland was occupied by Soviets for 44 years so no wonder that it can’t catch up economically yet. However now being full EU member means that everybody in EU should be open to everybody in EU. On May 1st 2006 the 2 years after big bang EU enlargement are passing and it is judgement day: if Netherlands says NO and prolongs transitory period then I will never ever have sympathy to Netherlands… and I will clearly understand what Dutch non-white citizens feel: lack of respect, being treated like shit, being looked down by Dutch racists.
Netherlands, similarly like Frenchies, rejected EU constitution because they don’t understand that main problem is globalizaiton and not new EU citizens. In USA it is unimaginable that person from Ohio would require work permit to move to Calofornia or Seattle. In EU of early 21st century it is still so and racism is wide spread.
The bottom line is: whether Netherlands as country is racist or not will be clear on May 1st 2006… and you pip don’t just stand here and say “I am open but Unions and Political Parties are not” – go and send fax or email or something to your politicians and demand yes.

CBS that argument sort of went off topic it started about Iraq and ended with you saying Poland defended the EU from Muslims (this is true they did defeat Turkey). I just dont see how you jumped so much. Poland the UK USA and Australia all sent trops for the opening time of combat, others arrived subsiquently some left some rotated some are now on peacekeeping, an example been Spain who where on peacekeeping after war was declard over but still died and then withdrew due to goverment changes and the fact theyw here replaced by another force). The point it personally i don’t think it shoudl matter if you come in later, you came and you are/where there to help, and you know what the do help! Imagine if no-one turned up can you imagine how fucked up it would be more than it is, people im power struggles. In order to fix a problem everyone has to pitch in, its like trying to make a car when the person who makes the wheels refuses to help, impossible you need lots of help but not always for along time just help.
As for the EU personally i feel it should be open and free and anyone should be allowed to move and work. I think its personally a great idea, if you come from whatever country and are willing to work go an knock youself out. If someone wants a job there is always ones to be had go and work in the local Subway. People complaining that all the jobs are taken that because ofthen people feel that they are better than forign workers and will refuse to work those jobs, that it rediculous you should get you head down and work and work you way up. Progress starts from the ground up an must be maintained or it all falls down. So anyone who wants a job and will work, get in there and work your socks off, someone has to and every bit helps.
