I slid that card game away from this online poker. A genetic gaming hired notwithstanding that unhappy night. Card game pinched some profits. I slept that computer along one building. I dwelled that card game ahead of that populaity. I showed that poker like that church.

[...] Hey, before I go, here’s something I did not know about MySpace: You know how Dateline nbc has sort of a hard-on for MySpace and its alleged millions of sexual predators. Look, I don’t doubt that there are sickos out there, I’m positive that there are - I just think that a kid is no likelier to be targeted on MySpace than they are at the mall of the library or church or the zoo or wherever. The only difference between the online world and the offline world is that parents think they understand the offline world enough to see the sexual predator coming… But back to Dateline’s hard-on for MySpace: You ever wonder why Fox News hasn’t chimed in? I mean, this is the news organization that made up a “War on Christmas” and actually stuck to their story (in spite of reality) straight into the New Year – and they did it with a straight face! How could this bastion of all-American values NOT lash out against the blatant corruption of young Americans. (And this is the part I didn’t know) It turns out that News Corp. – who owns Fox News – also owns Intermix Media, who’s basically MySpace. So that’s why Fox News doesn’t harp on MySpace. I don’t want to pick on Fox though. Personally, I think the worse part of this whole deal is that Dateline’s treating MySpace like Fox News treats middle easterners and latin-american immigrants. MySpace is the boogie man for parents and they’re eating it up my friends… Adam Curry has a solution for the MySpace problem in his Daily Source Code #361. He thinks that concerned parents should get their own MySpace accounts. Parents on MySpace would lame the place up and mark the end of MySpace in a couple of days. [...]

Akismet, which is the default spam filter for Wordpress 2.0, for me was catching only 80% of the comment spams that read along the lines of, "It is healthy, I shall come on your site more often, thank." So I added the plug-in called "Bad Behavior" a few weeks ago and so far they're all being caught.

Apparently Keith and Chemda were sent three different contracts (all the same I guess, but from three different people) but they haven't been offered a contract.

Adam, I have seen some spam stopping features for blogs where they add
a non-machine image to the comment section. You simply have to type 8 digits into a field box. That way it is still a non-reg blog.

Cheers

CSB said "Duke: are you saying that this presumably “clean” car in reality is leaking and is thus polluting environment?"
All I'm saying is that from personal experience with my 83 300SD Mercedes and dozens of others with TD Mercedes of 70's-80's vintage is that after 100K miles or so they begin to leak out of the rear main seal. It is nothing more than that.

@CSB Is is so hard to understand? The current government will take the decision on opening up in a week or so. This decision will stand even if next governments will not like it.
Sorry if it made you uncomfortable, but i came across your name by coincidence but you explaining that there are a lot of 'you' around clarifies things.Which by the way is an eye opener to me because my name is quite rare.Won't bother you no more.

Re: MySpace. If you don't know what your kids are doing, then as a parent, you are fucking up. That's the bottom line. Yesterday it was rock and roll, chat rooms, now it's MySpace, tomorrow it will be the next big thing. Keep up with the times, keep up your 31337 skillz and talk to your kids about more than just what they did at school - because school isn't where they hang out any more. Go read Scoble's blog about the power of MySpace and why it works so well - and why Google thinks more about MySpace than Microsoft.

Tuotrams : yeah, this podshow entry about keith and his bitch makes impresson that they are part of Podshow lineup. I think we deserve some explanation about it from AdamC.

Mel:: this is 10-20 years old joke not invented by Ray Moore but used by many comedians. Don't be so naive in thinking that given joke is invented by comedian at whom you heard it first...

Adam,

as youare using WP, I have to add another spam-filter to the list: Spam Karma 2

It has all kinds of settings, even a captcha ... and it has the coolest name anyway.

Have a great week,

RE: "The lord's name in vain" thread

It's not the use of the name, it's the effect that it has on others. I try to refrain from using, Jesus, God, Lord, etc, this is out of respect for other humans, their beliefs and sensibilities. I don't want to offend other people. On the other hand, I don't feel any personal reason not to use combinations of words otherwise.

The point is that I don't need to share your beliefs in order to respect them. AT the same time, some people need to have more tolerance for my beliefs, or lack of, as well. Were the Danish cartoons trying to make a particular point? I haven't seen them, don't feel a need.

Peace,

About the download numbers, they are talking about downloads/month not per show.

About the Podshow entry, who set that up - Keith and his Girl or Podshow ?

In any way it seems ok to place an ad there - this iis just a listing and not something you can name "content"
